For years, Henrik Kristoffersen has been one of the world’s absolute ski superstars, right at the very top of the sport. And yet, his wedding to Tonje in Salzburg felt beautifully grounded: elegant, intimate, and full of genuine emotion.

They live in Salzburg and chose Schloss Leopoldskron for their celebration, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect match: Scandi elegance meets the timeless romance of a Salzburg castle.

I had the honor of being their wedding planner in Salzburg, and our journey began 16 months before the wedding day. From the first meeting, it was clear they wanted something refined, warm, and truly personal. Not overdone, but full of feeling.

The result was a celebration that created also huge positive media buzz. A Scandinavian-inspired wedding in one of Salzburg’s most iconic locations, talked about for all the right reasons. And despite the attention, the day stayed exactly what it should be: intimate, emotional, and real.

Their Norwegian guests brought incredible energy, heartfelt moments, big laughter, and a party that turned into a night none of us will forget.
