How It All Began: From One Magical Wedding to a Dream Career

Galina and Fritz’s wedding in 2012 will forever hold a special place in my heart — not only because of the unforgettable celebration, but because it marked the beginning of my journey as an independent wedding planner.

Before taking this leap, I spent seven wonderful years working as Sales & Marketing Director at a stunning palace near Salzburg which is called Kavalierhaus in Klessheim. During that time, I had the privilege of organizing around 180 high-end events every year, including weddings, gala dinners, corporate presentations, and private celebrations. With over 1,200 events under my belt, I had the experience — but I didn’t yet know this would soon become my own business.

Fritz and I had known each other for many years, and he had once attended a particularly spectacular event we hosted at the castle for a global brand. A few weeks later, he and Galina approached me with the idea of celebrating their wedding weekend in the same magical location — and asked if I could help bring it all to life.

From the very first meeting, I was captivated by their vision. Their ideas were inspiring, personal, and full of love. I felt completely at ease — organizing events was second nature by then — but this one was different. It was the first time I was doing it independently, just for them.

The wedding turned out to be nothing short of breathtaking. And to my surprise, it wasn’t long before the next inquiry came in… and then another, and another. At first, mostly from local couples — and soon, from all around the world.

What began as a favor for friends evolved naturally into a full-time passion and profession. I never planned it this way — it just happened. And looking back, I can confidently say: it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
